About The Role

We currently have an opening for a Field Service Technician to join our team. Our Technicians are the face of Seegrid that provide exceptional on-site customer care and timely resolutions. You will provide support to the robotic powered industrial vehicles installed at customer sites located across the country. While this role requires you to be on the front-line, you will have some of the best minds in engineering, robotics and customer support behind you. Responsibilities Include:

  • Possess a unique combination of hands-on problem solving, analytical thinking and a customer-service spirit
  • Manage and conduct all on-site troubleshooting, repair and testing tasks for powered industrial trucks, robotic and vision guided systems
  • Partner with Seegrid Support, Engineering and Customer Success teams to provide the best possible resolution to customer concerns
  • Work with a collaborative attitude and team spirit in an ever-changing dynamic environment
  • Coach customer staff on safety, operation and maintenance best practices
  • Maintain detailed daily record keeping and reporting, including resolutions implemented, records of time, expenses and materials
  • Remain prepared for customer service calls which most likely require travel on short notice
  • Take ownership on-going skill development by engaging in regular product and software trainings

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in electrical/mechanical technology, or at least 3 years of experience in related field
  • Ability to work long hours in noisy and busy environments
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Strong customer interface with commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good technical knowledge of Windows; proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to travel extensively both domestically and internationally and maintain a clean driving record - Passport is required
  • Must be a highly responsible individual who can work independently and with minimal supervision
