About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to own and define the product strategy and roadmap for our vehicle platforms, including batteries, charging systems, and vehicle accessories.

Seegrid is evolving our product practice to match the maturity of our world-class perception, autonomy, and hardware engineering. In this role, your mission is to partner with our technical and field teams to understand complex material handling system needs vs capabilities and translate them into customer-focused product priorities. You will work cross-functionally with Technical Product Management, Sales, Application Engineering, Implementation Engineering, and our customers to understand their operational needs, market opportunities, and ROI expectations. Together, we will ensure that our products deliver clear, communicable value in heavy industrial environments.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Define, maintain, and communicate a customer-centric product roadmap for Seegrid's vehicle hardware, power systems (batteries/charging), and physical accessories.
  • Partner closely with Technical Product Management, Sales, Application Engineering, and Implementation teams to capture field insights and translate them into actionable product requirements.
  • Evolve internal development schedules into market-facing product roadmaps, ensuring that technical milestones are directly mapped to customer ROI and operational outcomes.
  • Collaborate with customers to deeply understand their workflows, translating those market insights into clear product requirements (PRDs) that empower our engineering teams to build high-impact solutions.
  • Collaborate with hardware and operations teams to manage component selection, vendor relationships, and physical product lifecycles.
  • Engage directly with customers in heavy manufacturing and logistics to validate product decisions and understand their ROI requirements.

Required Experience:

  • BS in a technical/analytic field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience in industrial technology, commercial equipment, or complex hardware+software physical systems.
  • Exceptional commercial instincts; proven ability to shift product conversations from technical outputs (what we are building) to customer outcomes (why the customer cares).
  • Demonstrated track record of engaging with enterprise customers and sales teams to lead structured discovery.
  • Strong requirements discipline; able to translate ambiguous operational problems into crisp scope and measurable success criteria.
  • Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams and influence outcomes without direct authority.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior industrial automation experience, specifically within automotive or heavy manufacturing markets.
  • Familiarity with the Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture, including automated work cells, PLCs, SCADA, and enterprise control architectures.
  • Previous experience with autonomous vehicles, AMRs, or robotics is a strong plus, but not strictly required.
